Gal Ben Moshe, Chef Patron at Berlin-based restaurant Prism, is set to cook up a culinary storm alongside leading Dubai-based chefs, Nick Alvis and Scott Price
The six-course degustation dinner with the culinary masterminds, will see the chef’s creating one dish per course from their restaurants, with grape pairings from handpicked boutique vineyards.
Pushing the boundaries of modern Levantine cooking, Chef Gal Ben Moshe began his culinary journey under the guidance of legendary chefs such as Jason Atherton, Marcus Wareing and Grant Achatz, before eventually opening Prism – awarded a Michelin Star in 2020. The chef will be making his debut in Dubai alongside renowned chefs Nick Alvis and Scott Price, who have spent over a decade under the tutelage of Gordon Ramsay in London, Paris and Dubai.
The evening sees a tempting array of dishes such as goat’s cheese, apple, onion and horseradish from folly by Nick & Scott; and textures of Arabic cucumber, khubeza, marinated kiwi, grilled avocado and black yuzu powder from Prism. This is followed by crispy hens’ egg, pancetta and maple syrup from the Dubai-based chefs; and mutton tartare, spelt pain perdu, black quince, glazed horse mackerel, egg yolk emulsion and urfa biber from the Berlin-based chef.
folly by Nick & Scott will go on to dish up a beautiful cod fillet with bulgur wheat chervil and pomegranate; while we see a perfectly grilled red mullet, akkoub, barigoule dashi and shiso from Prism. Entrées showcase beef sirloin, smoked oxtail croquettes, shimeji and red grape from the UAE-resident chefs; and a roast pigeon, beetroot and baharat from Chef Gal Ben Moshe.
The evening will finally bring us to decadent desserts of flexible chocolate mousse, smoked dates, coffee and tobacco iced cream from Prism and rhubarb and custard from folly by Nick & Scott.
