Flamingo Room by tashas is set to take diners a trip across South Africa, starring excellent grape pours paired with classic fare

Treat yourself to a feast of all senses at Flamingo Room by tashas, sited within Jumeirah Al Naseem on Madinat Jumeirah Road. The sublime one-evening-only event will feature a selection of South African grape by AA Badenhorst, where diners will be offered sips from the brand’s most enhanced collection. These will be paired to perfection with delectable dishes from Flamingo Room’s menu.

The carefully curated three-course set menu with grape pairing begins with a light-bodied white grape, alongside servings of a Sea bass carpaccio with pearled couscous and a delightful citrus and honey vinaigrette, Prawn arancini with buffalo mozzarella and Napolitana sauce and a vibrant Beetroot quinoa salad.

Next, expect a 2021 white blend and 2020 red blend, accompanied by a curated selection of mains including a mouthwatering pan-seared Sea bass and a Cornflake chicken schnitzel served with a roasted tomato salsa and a cauliflower and truffle purée.

Ending the experience on a sweet note, diners are offered a unique rose grape together with a poached Peach Melba with vanilla mouse, vanilla pod ice-cream and a selection of seasonal berries.

Suzanne Venter, a grape expert and representative from AA Badenhorst will be present on the evening, enchanting diners with stories of the significant elements of the AA Badenhorst collection.
